Dr. Mohd Shafie Md Amin Al-Muqri
Mohd Shafie is among the very few in the world that possesses such unique knowledge and experience that are in great demand in many organisations. After obtaining his ACCA from London School of Accountancy in United Kingdom , Mohd Shafie joined the well known Audit and Consulting firm Peat Merwich Mitchell as an Auditor. After spending his early career with the company, his talent was spotted and he was offered the position of Financial Controller In FELDA Palm Corp. Whilst many professionals especially the Bumiputra were busy planning their career growth in the corporate sector, Shafie discovered that the rat race for material wealth did not give him the real meaning of life. He left the job and began a long and tough journey to master the al-Quran and the Sunnah. That brought him to Jordan and other countries in Africa like Egypt and Mali , to learn the finer points of al-Quran recital and at the age of 30 he became al-Hafiz of the entire 30 chapters of al-Quran. He continued his study on al-Quran at the University of Malaya . He believed in prospering the world through providing positive knowledge to humankind. To achieve this personal vision, he initiated and managed a tahfiz school in KL very successfully with a number of self-developed breakthrough learning methodologies. His sound knowledge of divine principles in management makes him very popular speaker at many established corporation like Petronas, Tenaga Nasional, Takaful, Telekom Malaysia and many other institutions. This unique capability in acquiring both the western and the divine knowledge applicable in management field is very useful to business and also public sector leaders.
